The 1-Day Nordic Team is an entry-level program designed to get kids interested in cross-country skiing, all while immersed in a fun and enjoyable atmosphere. Our goal is to develop the proper technique at a young age, to have fun, and to learn a great winter sport. If interested, athletes will also have the option to attend local and regional races through Rocky Mountain Nordic during the season. This program is a great progression into the full weekend or academy team as an athlete’s skill and desire builds. For more information, email [email protected].

The team will train regularly from September- April. In the summer, athletes will have the opportunity to attend numerous on and off-snow camps, and have access to dryland training. Additionally, athletes will have access to full-time coaches, a comprehensive training plan with emphasis on sports physiology and proper training zones, nutrition advice, strength training, sports psychology, and technique work.
