Grand Nordic’s mission is to promote All Things Nordic in Grand County, Colorado. Bringing together resources in this website, Grand Nordic has compiled all the county has to offer, including World Class Nordic areas, ranches offering groomed Nordic skiing (also called Cross Country Skiing), recreation districts and town recreation departments offering kids lessons, NSCD offering both adaptive and adaptive competitive programs, Colorado Biathlon training and competition, School teams in Middle School and High School, Competition programs for all ages, free skiing in the Center of town and free trails connecting towns for miles across the county or on golf courses.

Grand County Nordic Race Series
Grand County Nordic Ski Racing is putting on eight Nordic races, both skate and classic, with long and short course options. There are kid and family options with Junior races for ages 13 and under, and a Family/Kids Tour for all ages. By signing up for the race series, you save on the individual race cost. Compete with fellow racers for the best score of the series.

- Devil’s Thumb Ranch in Tabernash
- Granby Ranch in Granby
- Latigo Guest Ranch in Kremmling

Spring Offerings at Granby Ranch
Spring is an exciting time at Granby Ranch! In March, they are extending lift operation hours, allowing even more time on the slopes for you and your family. Starting March 10th, their lifts will run two hours later than usual, giving you more time to enjoy the mountain from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
After the Ladies Rail Jam in February, they have the finale in the series with the Bull Riders Jam on March 22nd with the top riders in the series battling it out for the biggest prizes.
The season wraps up with the highly anticipated Skim-Or-Swim event, where skiers and snowboarders attempt to glide across a pool of water outside the base lodge. Whether you’re competing or watching, this thrilling and hilarious event is the perfect way to celebrate the end of the ski season!
