Hello aspiring biathletes! While it may seem like the racing season is still a long way off, it will be here before we know it! If you would like to race with a .22 this year, you will need to complete the Colorado Biathlon Club’s safety certification class. The next offering of this class will be October 26th at Snow Mountain Ranch, with registration opening at 5:00 PM Friday, August 30th at this link:
A few important notes:
- Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or other adult.
- Participants under the age of 13 cannot use club rifles and must bring a biathlon legal rifle to the class. If you have a rifle and would like to know if it meets the criteria, please reach out to Drew directly at [email protected].
- Class will start promptly at 10AM and will run to approximately 3PM, with the first two hours being in the classroom and the second part being on the range. Please dress accordingly.
Drew will follow up with class location and other details once there’s folks registered.
