Registration opens today at 5pm MT for the Colorado Biathlon Club State Championship race weekend, taking place Saturday, February 28 and Sunday, March 1, 2026, at SMR.
The weekend will feature a Sprint race on Saturday, followed by a Pursuit race on Sunday, marking our final full weekend of racing (and hopefully snow).

- Athletes may register for the Sprint, the Pursuit, or both races
- Registration for both days opens and closes at the same time
State Championship highlights:
- Commemorative championship coasters are back, featuring a design by guest artist Eric Bergman
- All Sunday racers receive a coaster at bib pickup
- Limited additional coasters available for purchase during registration
- Championship medals awarded to the top three finishers in each age group and open division.
- Championship metal eligibility:
- Athletes must race both days in the same category to be eligible
- Open and Masters competitors must race with .22 rifles, shooting prone on prone targets
- Youth shooting follows age-appropriate standards
- Novice division NOT eligible for medals
