Help support our mission of promoting All Things Nordic in Grand County!

The purpose of this website is to promote ALL THINGS NORDIC in Grand County with support from the Grand County Colorado Tourism Board and our sponsors. In the past, we’ve received a marketing grant from the GCC Tourism Board that allows us to advertise in national publications, both in print and online. Through these advertising avenues, we have also been able to negotiate special deals for our sponsors to advertise individually with the publications. With funds from grants and our sponsors, we are able to keep the website updated with current Nordic news and events, information on places to cross country ski, local programs and races, news and deals from our sponsors, and photos from events throughout the season.

Starting the 2024-2025 season, we increased our presence with Nordic ski reports on KFFR radio and are all set to continue each year. The response to the Nordic grooming reports was so good, that this past season, the reports were aired at 7:55a, 8:55a and 9:55a daily. Three times each morning!

The Grand County Nordic Race Series continues to grow participation and excitement each season and brings racers from all over. Our social media posts are gaining traction as we promote local Nordic events, programs and messages from our sponsors. Our website, with just over half of hits from Colorado and the rest from outside the state and country, is a great tool to help bring awareness to our Nordic partners.

As a Sponsor, you receive several marketing opportunities depending on your chosen sponsorship level. Some benefits may include an online listing, a table at the Grand Nordic Ski Swap, the opportunity to participate in KFFR’s morning Nordic ski report, and a banner ad on our website, which can be changed out a couple times a year so you can promote special events or programs in addition to your website. Some print publications we advertise in, like Cross Country Ski magazine, has also offered a discounted rate for their Resort Guide listing to our Gold Resort sponsors as well.
