Grand Nordic is holding the Annual Nordic Ski Swap on Saturday October 25 at Snow Mtn Ranch Campers Hub, Nordic parking lot, and SMR Nordic Center. Individual sales intake is from 8:30a to 9:30a at the entrance to the Campers Hub with a registration form available – click here to download the form so you can fill it out in advance. Grand Nordic will have “advisors” available to help people decide if the want older used gear sold a low prices or if they should go outside to where “better, newer” equipment is available. All individual sales will be in the Hub with a checkout as people leave the building. Public hours are 10a and sales end at 2p.
Vendor Info
Vendor and equipment representative tables and tents will extend from the covered patio of the Hub along the parking lot and over to the Nordic Center. Vendors and shops wishing to sell equipment can pay a $125 fee and keep their own accounting and sales profits totally. Gold sponsors of skigrandnordic.org have a free table included in their gold sponsorship. If you are a gold sponsor, please advise immediately that you want that included table. Equipment Reps
Equipment reps will not be focusing on Sales but mostly display or demos. They might have a few new or specialty items for sale, not to be competing with Shops and Vendors. Reps (required) and vendors (voluntary) are asked to donate a item or two for the door prizes that will be drawn at least hourly and posted at the Grand Nordic info table in the center of the parking area table. Checks for payment are made payable to Grand Nordic. Tax receipts for donated equipment prizes are available since we are a 501(c)3
Organizations dispersing information only can have their own table at no charge or drop off fliers etc for distribution to Grand Nordic prior or at the Grand Nordic table.
Your tents are welcome so please be aware The Swap will operate rain snow or shine and it can be windy. Public hours start at 10a but many people bringing gear to sell will come through earlier so set up accordingly. Sales end at 2pm. All individual equipment not sold left beyond 2:30p will be considered donated to Grand Nordic unless other arrangements have been made.
Swap proceeds benefit Youth Nordic programs in Grand County.
