There’s 2 great back-to-back races this weekend in the Grand County Nordic Race Series, sponsored by the Winter Park Chamber! The Grand Nordic Skate Race is Saturday, January 27, and the Snow Mountain Classic is now Sunday, January 28. The Annual SMR Classic Race was rescheduled to Sunday, January 28, after its originally scheduled date on the 13th was cancelled due to the blizzard that weekend. Ski both races and skip the Denver traffic when you stay the night and enjoy lodging at Snow Mountain Ranch!

We are in need of volunteers for both races, so if you’re not a racer but want to be a part of the action, come help us out!
Free Lesson Day Rescheduled
The Grand Nordic Free Lessons (previously scheduled for Sunday, Jan. 28) have been moved to the following week, Sunday Feb. 4th. Learn to Classic & Skate Ski For Adults & Kids at YMCA of the Rockies, Snow Mountain Ranch Nordic Center. Trail Passes & Rentals FREE to Grand Nordic Members (Non-members pay regular fees).
