We are just a few short weeks away from when registration for the first Colorado Biathlon Club (CBC) race is set to open (🙏please snow please🙏) and they need to start filling in competition and range officials for, well, every race except the season opener. As an added incentive, if you volunteer as a competition or range official at two races during the season, you get to race for free at CBC’s eight races (and, yes, you’re able to volunteer and race on the same day).
If you’re able to volunteer, please email Ed Dawson at ed@dawsonmail.net and he’ll take care of the rest.
If you’re not sure you know enough to be an official, 1) even the great Walter was a new official at one point and 2) CBC wants you to succeed so they’ll pair you with a mentor to help you learn. Oh, did I mention that you should email Ed at ed@dawsonmail.net ?
If you’re not sure of your winter plans yet or need to wait to know your work schedule, please drop Ed (ed@dawsonmail.net) a quick note so that we know you’re potentially interested and we will follow up with you at a later date.
