This winter BOA released Nordic products with Fisher and Madshus and had several podium finishes at this year’s Olympic Games in Italy. BOA is wanting to dig deeper into the science behind these Nordic skiing products and is looking to conduct our first ever nordic, on snow, biomechanics testing before the end of this winter. We are looking for talented athletes who would like to participate in this unique opportunity. Please see details below and forward to any athletes (male or female) that may be interested and be a good fit!
Location: Eldora Nordic Center (potential Keystone if our local snow doesn’t stick around)
Testing dates: March 30 – April 10 (weekdays only, hoping to front load the test due to questionable conditions and length of the season. Available test days subject to change due to unforeseen trail conditions and the potential for closures this time of year)
Test hours: 7:00 – 12:30pm
Test time slot duration: 1.5 hour
Compensation: $110 & trail pass if required (additional compensation will be provided if the test is moved to Keystone)
Shoe Model and Sizes Available: Madshus Redline Skate BOA size EU 42 & 44 only (approximately men’s 9 and 10.5)
Eligibility: Athletes must be proficient in V2 skating technique and bring their own skate skis, poles and bindings
Test Protocol: Warm up followed by four sprint skating intervals (about 1 mile each). Qualitative data will be collected as well as pressure data from our pressure sensing insoles.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions, if you have any athlete referrals, or athlete recruiting ideas! Excited for this one! Thank you!!!
