After some very warm days and lots of shoveling:
1. Race loop will be 9km
– long course 4 laps
– short course 2 laps
– “mini” 1 lap.
– 3k will be 3 laps of 1k loop.
2. Start times
– long 9am
– short 10am
-Mini 10:30
-3k 10:35 with 1k to follow.
3. Registration will open at 7am in the camper’s hub
4. 2 feed tables, one at start finish and one out on blue ridge at the waterfall.

Here’s information for this weekend’s Stampede. (originally published March 3rd – see info above for updates)
Race Headquarters will be located at the Camper’s Hub.
– Registration, bib-pick up, post event festivities will take place here.
– There are bathrooms available at this facility.
– No Skis or poles inside the building please.
Registration/Bib pick up will open at 7am (2 hours prior to 50k start)
- There will be QR codes available for day of event registration if needed.
- Make sure to use the bib that is assigned to you. Dad’s don’t use your child’s bib!
The start finish area is located about 10 minutes from the Camper’s Hub in the CCO trails.
- There will be signs directing racers from the Camper’s Hub to the start area. Please allow 10-15 minutes to get out there and get situated at the start.
- There are no bathroom facilities at the start finish-plan accordingly.
Race Notes:
- You may change skis during the event. Make sure to leave them accessible but out of the way in the start finish area. We will move them if they are a hazard or are in the way.
- There will be two aid stations with water, energy mix and an assortment of fruit and cookies.
- There will be two-way traffic on Gaskill around the reservoir. The up-hill and down-hill lanes will be marked with pin flags. Be courteous and safe!
- I’ve attached a detailed map for this weekend.
- Each loop is 12.6km.
- 50km, 4 loops, start at 9am
- 25km, 2 loops, start at 10am
- 12.5km, 1 loop start at 10:30
- 3km will start at 10:35 with 1k’ers to follow.
