NEW UPDATE: Due to legal threats made to CBC and Cameron Kirkegaard from one of the alleged abusers named in the December 2024 Associated Press Article, we have made the difficult decision to postpone our screening of “Line of Fire” scheduled for January 17 at Snow Mountain Ranch.  We have every intention of regrouping and showing the film at a later date this season. This is not a decision we take lightly but this is a necessary step for now.  We hope to follow up with more information soon.

For those who couldn’t make it out to Grand Junction for the premiere of Line Of Fire (the documentary on the history of abuse in American biathlon, filmed at the 2025 Joanne Reid Women’s Biathlon Festival at Snow Mountain Ranch), you will have another opportunity to see it at Snow Mountain Ranch on the evening of January 17, following the Colorado Biathlon Club’s sprint race that weekend.  The specific time will be announced shortly, but the film will be shown in the campers hub.  There is no entry fee for this event, but there will be QR codes available for optional donations to some charities that support victims of abuse.

Tentative Schedule:

6:00 – Doors open
6:30 – opening remarks
6:45 – film screening
7:30 – panel discussion and Q&A
8:15 – wrap up
