The Ranch2Ranch XC Ski Trek is this Saturday and Sunday, February 10th and 11th. Cross Cross Country Ski from Snow Mountain Ranch to Granby Ranch via Snow Mountain Ranch Trails to the Fraser to Granby Trail to Granby Ranch Trails. Pick one day or join us for both! The distance is 12 km one way, starting at Snow Mountain Ranch and finishing at Granby Ranch. Or if you want to challenge yourself, double the distance to 24 km by skiing there and back. This is our annual fundraiser for Youth XC Sking in Grand County.
There will be Door Prizes from Swix and Fischer. (You need not be present to win).
Cost for the Trek is $35 for Grand Nordic Members and $40 For non-members for early registration. Starting Friday, February 9th, the cost increases to $45.
Bus service will be provided from Granby Ranch to Snow Mountain, with buses at 8:30 am and 9:15 am. One-way skiers park at Montana lot at Granby Ranch to take the bus, or shuttle with friends/family. For those who want to ski both ways, park at Snow Mountain Ranch to start and finish at the Nordic Center.
The Ranch2Ranch Trek is a benefit for kids and school Nordic programs in Grand County. Sponsored by Grand Nordic, Granby Ranch, Snow Mountain Ranch/YMCA of the Rockies, and Headwaters Trails Alliance.
