The Ranch2Ranch is this Saturday, February 7th and the Stagecoach Classic is this Sunday, February 8th! Both annual events are a fun untimed adventure and are sure to be a blast! Even with the challenging snow conditions this year, the grooming teams have been working their magic to create a great course at each location.
Ranch2Ranch @ Snow Mountain Ranch
It’s the event many of you wait all year for. The Ranch2Ranch Trek is Grand Nordic’s annual fundraiser for youth cross country skiing programs in Grand County. Registration fee is discounted for Grand Nordic Members (Non-members pay regular fees). The registration fee increases on February 6th, so register online today. Traditionally the Ranch2Ranch XC Ski Trek goes from Snow Mountain Ranch to Granby Ranch, but due to low snow conditions this year, the route will stay within Snow Mountain Ranch. The course for this year will be a loop of about 6k+ so distances can be 6k, 12k, 18k or as many as you want. Course is open until 3p! Get out there for fun enjoyable ski trek at Snow Mountain Ranch.
Stagecoach Classic @ Devil’s Thumb Ranch
Devil’s Thumb Ranch and the Winter Park/Fraser Chamber are happy to present the 11th annual 30km, 15km, and 3k kids classic-only cross-country ski race and tour! The event will start and finish at Devil’s Thumb Ranch Resort & Spa. An end of race celebration will be located at Broad Axe Barn with food and beer. Check out this year’s new cash prizes below!

Locations and Transportation:
All events will start and finish at Devil’s Thumb Ranch. Please park all cars in the parking lots located north and west of the main lodge (#1 on our DTR property map). Overflow parking is located at the High Lonesome lodge (#13 on our DTR property map).

2:00pm-6:00pm 30k-15k packet pick-up at Zach’s Mercantile shop at Devil’s Thumb Ranch
Sunday, February 8th
8:00am – 9:30am: 30km-15k packet pick-up at Devil’s Thumb Ranch (Broad Axe Barn).
10:00am: 30k race mass start
10:15am: 15k race mass start
15k ski tour start right after the 15k mass start
10:20am: 3k kids race start
12:00pm– 2:00pm: After party with food and beer at Broad Axe Barn.
1:00pm: Award ceremony (Broad Axe Barn).
