Hit your glide during this classic-only ski race and tour on some of the nation’s top Nordic trails this Saturday, January 20th! Hit your PR in the 30k or 15k race or enjoy the scenery on the 15k tour. The 3k kids’ fun race makes it a can’t-miss event for the whole family! All races will start and finish at Devil’s Thumb Ranch. Stick around after you’ve crossed the finish line for the post-race party in the scenic Broad Axe Barn, complete with awards, hearty soups, and a crisp beer.
Online registration closes at 12pm on January 19. Packet pickup will be available at the Winter Park & Fraser Chamber of Commerce from 12-5pm on Jan. 19 and will continue at Zach’s Mercantile at Devil’s Thumb Ranch from 5:30-8pm. Packet pickup will resume at 7am in the Broad Axe Barn on January 20. Click here to register online.
On Race day, please park in the designated parking lots to the north and west of the main lodge, avoiding the day-use parking area. Overflow parking is available at the High Lonesome Lodge.

7:00am – 8:30am: 30km packet pick-up at Devil’s Thumb Ranch (Broad Axe Barn #4 on property map)
7:00am – 9:30am: 15km race and tour packet pick-up at Devil’s Thumb Ranch (Broad Axe Barn #4 on property map)
9:00am: 30k race mass start
9:15am: 3k kids race start.
10:00am: 15k race mass start
10:05am: 15k ski tour start immediately following the 15k mass start
11:00am – 3:30pm: After Party with food and beer at Broad Axe Barn (#4 on our DTR property map)
12:00pm: Award ceremony (Broad Axe Barn #4 on our DTR property map)
